We are hard at work transforming the Rec Center into the Tech Center. This week, students from Digital Harbor High came by and helped out with the clean up, taking trash away, wiping down shelves, sweeping, and helping us move furniture. Today, painters got work putting a fresh coat on the walls. Soon we’ll have the floors stripped and waxed, wireless internet installed, and new furniture brought into the space. We have big plans for the courtyard area, too, and we’ll be having a big outdoor cleanup day on December 9th.
We are looking forward to the big Moonlight Madness event in Federal Hill on December 14th, and we hope to be ready then to show you all our shining clean Tech Center. In the mean time, we’ll be working on getting it ready.
