BALTIMORE — Digital Harbor Foundation and San Francisco’s TeacherSquare have joined together to produce the next iteration of an online handbook for edtech startups around the country.
Building on the success of the EdTech Handbook and the work of contributors including EdShelf’s Mike Lee, Learn Sprout’s Anthony Wu, and Kickboard’s Jennifer Medbery, the new edition will be completely renovated and redesigned by Baltimore City public high school students in DHF’s STEM Engine program.
The EdTech Handbook, a project spearheaded by Jessie Arora (founder of Teacher Square), was created to cultivate the education startup ecosystem and to help create tools that improve teaching and learning for all students.
Digital Harbor Foundation’s student web developers will be re-imagining the underlying architecture of the Handbook to allow for greater collaboration and to promote the creation of up-to-date information for an edtech world in constant flux.
The new iteration is planned for release in December.

This is all very wonderful and great news. I would love to invite everyone on the TeacherCast Podcast to share this great resources with my audience.
