This evening, Digital Harbor Foundation will host the Baltimore EdTech Meetup!
DHF’s Rose Burt will be unveiling the STEMCore curriculum at the heart of our “Rec2Tech” afterschool program in South Baltimore. STEMCore aligns tech and maker-inspired project based learning with Common Core and the skills most needed in tech driven industries. It is a curriculum in which students build, measure, and learn experientially in a hands-on environment that promotes creative problem solving and passion-driven exploration.
Also at the Meetup will be Mike Brenner, co-founder of Betamore — an urban campus for entrepreneurship. Mike will be leading a conversation with educators and technologists interested in founding edtech startups.
The Baltimore EdTech Meetup starts at 6pm and will be held at 1414 Key Highway, Baltimore, MD 21230. Call 410-402-0553 with questions. And please RSVP in advance.
