Digital Harbor Foundation has been working with Baltimore City Public Schools and community members in Federal Hill to open a new community tech center in the neighborhood. Featuring an after school program where students build digital literacy while exploring different aspects of technology, as well as evening programs for adults, the Rec2Tech center in Federal Hill will be the flagship of DHF’s programming.
In order to open in the Fall, DHF is looking to the community for some help.
Specifically, we are seeking donations of furniture, office supplies, computers, and fun digital manufacturing goodies — like our new CNC mill kit or like the awesome digital vinyl cutter that suddenly showed up in our back room (donated by Futuremakers!)
If interested in donating, please contact me (Shelly) directly via shelly (at) digitalhaborfoundation.org or on Twitter. Thanks!
